We are accepting proposals for bylaw amendments/changes, or new language for 2024. The proposal form is available on the AMFA Local website and can be printed, filled out, scanned and emailed to secretaryamfa11@gmail.com. The submissions will be taken until Sunday, March 31, 2024 at 23:59CT. The bylaws meeting will be held after that date. After the bylaws meeting, the committee will prepare the bylaws to be submitted to the membership for a vote to either accept or reject the proposed changes to the bylaws. Any questions can be addressed to secretaryamfa11@gmail.com.

Realizing the importance of education, AMFA Local 11, with the approval of its membership, has established a scholarship fund for the purposes of assisting its members and their dependents in defraying the cost of continuing education. This shall be defined for our program as “formal courses of study for adult part-time and full-time students, beyond secondary education.”
This year, the Jack Coonrod Memorial Scholarship will award a total of 5 scholarships in the amount of $1000.00 US each, for a total payout of $5,000.00 US.

On January 31, the Union and SWA published agreements regarding the CESE Application for AMTs and AATs.
These can be located on the Forms and Documents page of this website.
Both agreements will become effective on March 1, 2024.
Election of Delegates: In accordance with Article XIX, Section 4 of the AMFA Constitution, Locals must elect their delegates for the 2024 National Convention within ninety (90) days of this notice.
On October 30, 2023, you elected your Local 11 delegates. AMFA Local 11 Delegates to the 2024 National Convention are Mike Dillon, Lee Rhame, Doug Collier, and Dennis Tapper. The Alternate Delegates are Pete Miller, “Phat” Frank Suentzenich, Mike Stanley, and Tim Regnold.
In accordance with Article XII, Section 1 of the AMFA Constitution, this letter shall serve as the official notice of the 2024 AMFA National Convention.
The delegates to the 2020 National Convention (aka 2021) voted to convene the 2024 National Convention in Austin, TX. The Convention will commence on Monday, May 6, 2024. Further information regarding National Convention location will be sent separately.
